Our Policy

Clients are to disclose any and all medical /grooming issues and biting history that pet may have before grooming session starts.
Grooming In Style requires all clients remain on a every 8 week or less grooming schedule. Anything over 8 weeks will be subject to a higher charge and / or will not be scheduled any future appointments. We cannot accept dogs over 80 pounds.
It is preferred that appointments are preschedule well in advance. This guarantees that your pet will be kept in excellent condition because there will be no long waits for an open appointment. Even if you call ahead of time our schedule is booked up several weeks in advance.
Please try to book your pet's next appointment before we leave. 
Appointments may be pre booked for the entire year if desired. 
We do not demat if we feel it will be too painful for your pet.
We will not shave short or double coated breeds as it can cause skin issues and coat damage. 
Please be aware that matted hair can hide underlying skin conditions that may be exposed after grooming is completed which Grooming In Style cannot be held responsible for such skin issues.

Cancellations:
 
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may try to fill that spot.
Failure to let us know that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment and we arrive for your pet's appointment and not have access to your pet there will be a $60 travel fee that must be paid in order to get back on the schedule.
An automated confirmation text will be sent 48 hours prior to your pet's appointment
Failure to confirm by 6 pm the night prior to the appointment time it will be considered cancelled and be removed.
All scheduled multiple pet clients who may decide not to have one or more of their pets groomed at the last minute will be responsible for all of the pet's grooming charge (Unless it is a medical reason).

On rare occasions due to inclement weather or illness we may have to reschedule your pet's appointment in which case we will give advance notice if possible.

Latch Key:
Since our business hours may be the same as your work hours, we offer free latch key service. You are not required to be home for your pet's grooming appointment. Just leave a hidden key or give us a door code and leave the payment or arrange for payment to be made via Venmo or an invoice can be sent by email. You get to come home to a freshly groomed pet without the hassle or rearranging your schedule.


Due to insurance reasons clients are not permitted to be in the grooming unit while pets are being groomed. We will gladly invite you to take a tour of the grooming unit before your pet's grooming session is started.
